In the unlikely event that this does not work, place jg.jar in the 'bin' directory of your Java SDK installation (not '/jre/bin') and repeat the first two steps. You can easily create a desktop or start menu item in the usual way for your operating system if you wish. Java Guru can display a sortable table of methods and constructors without the API documentation being installed. However, to get the most out of Java Guru, and your Java programming effort, we recommend that you install the API documentation. It can be downloaded from the following link. When you restart Java Guru, if the location of the documentation is not found automatically, set the documentation path using the appropriate toolbar button. You will only need to do this once. Java Guru for Java 1.3+ works with JDK 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and higher. The version for Java 1.6+ has a couple of extra features and super smooth font rendering. Java Guru has been developed by Kinabaloo Software over a number of years, from 2001. The first release of the stand-alone version was in July 2005.
